Crab Rangoon has been on the menu of the "Polynesian-style" restaurant Trader Vic's in San Francisco since at least 1956. Although the appetizer is allegedly derived from an authentic Burmese recipe, the dish was probably invented in the United States. While not a traditional Chinese dish, Crab Rangoon is a popular and delicious dish that is often served at Chinese restaurants in America.

Join Chef Ming and learn to make your own Crab Rangoon. Recipes will be provided to take home. Registration is required. Contact the Adult Service desk or call the library at 734-426-4477.
