Join us in welcoming back Randy Baker, of Naturalist Endeavors, as he presents on Michigan’s whit-tail deer. This exciting and provocative presentation is not a “How to Produce More Deer” program but rather is designed to bring to light the true life and times of the white-tailed deer. From adaptations to impacts on the ecosystem and the economy this amazing animal will be examined. Randy’s doctoral work on white-tailed deer combined with over 35 years of hunting experience will bring to us a unique insight into the good, the bad, and the biology of this keystone species. This program will cover the White-tailed Deer’s impact on biodiversity, Economic Impact… both positive and negative, White-tailed Deer Adaptations for survival, White-tailed Deer Diseases, and White-tailed Deer Management Problems. Registration is required.
