The performance will feature solos by two of the choir’s youngest members, Cora Yavello and Anna Robertson. The Dexter Community Choir (DCC) is a vocal ensemble open to residents of Washtenaw and Livingston counties, welcoming singers of all ages and skill levels — from seasoned vocalists to those just starting out. The DCC offers members the chance to experience the joy of choral singing in a warm, supportive setting while performing a diverse repertoire of music.
About the Dexter Community Choir:
The choir is led by Gordon Darr, Founder, Director, and President of the Hudson Music Center, the parent organization of the Dexter Community Choir. He works each day to explore innovative ways to expand access to the performing arts for all ages and backgrounds, drawing on professional expertise spanning music, education, business, local government, and non-profit management.
