Let’s Go Birding!

Date:
Monday, 06/12/2023
Time: 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Category:

“Let’s Go Birding” uses photos, videos, and stories to prepare the audience to go on a birding adventure in the field. Most bird species are habitat specific. The process of seeing different birds allows us to see both the birds and all the amazing habitats around us.

Join Greg as he discusses binocular selection, filed guides, bird songs, birding apps, local birding places and bird identification. This presentation will also take a photographic deep dive into the interesting behavior of one or two bird species

About the presenter:

Greg Bodker has been a serious birder since 2006, combining his interest in birds, nature, and photography as often as possible. Greg has led birding trips for Michigan Audubon and was on its Board of Directors for three years.  Greg now enjoys delivering birding and nature education presentations to audiences throughout Michigan. Greg has been a winner in multiple amateur photo contests including the overall winner in Michigan Nature Association’s Photo Contest in both 2020 and 2021!

This program will be in the Library’s Lower Level meeting room. Registration is required. Register below or call 734-426-4477 (ext. 120)
