SUMMARY:MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival 2026
DESCRIPTION:Join us on either September 25\, September 27\, September 30 or
  October 4\, 2026\, when over 100\,000 film lovers in over 250 cities acro
 ss six continents gather in Cinemas\, Museums\, Libraries and Universities
  for one purpose...to view and vote on the Finalists' Films in the 29th An
 nual MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival.\n\nUpon entry\, festival attendees are
  handed a Voting Card and an Official Program. Attendees will view (10) sh
 ort films and will vote for the ONE Film and Actor they feel should win. 
  Votes are tallied by each host venue then emailed to MANHATTAN SHORT Film
  Festival’s NYC headquarters.\n\nAll films selected will be eligible for
  an Oscar nomination. MANHATTAN SHORT does a full week's run in one Cinema
  in the county of Los Angeles. This theatre booking means every film selec
 ted as a Finalist in the 2026 MANHATTAN SHORT Film Festival will be eligib
 le to enter the Oscars. MANHATTAN SHORT is now in compliance with the rule
 s governing the Oscar Awards set forth by the Academy of Motion Pictures o
 f Arts and Sciences. A.M.P.A.S.\n\nMANHATTAN SHORT films have been to the 
 Oscars before!  In 2024\, from the ten selected finalists\, four shorts w
 ere short-listed and two nominated for Oscar\, which included the overall 
 winner for best live action "I'm Not a Robot".  Once a nominee is announc
 ed\, our partnering cinemas and loyal audiences champion those films and f
 ilmmakers through social media all the way to the podium!\n\nThis program 
 will be repeated on  Friday\, September 25\, 6:00 p.m.\, Sunday\, Septemb
 er 27\, 2:00 p.m.\, and on Wednesday\, September 30\, 6:00 p.m. This prog
 ram will last approximately 2.5 hours with a 10-minute intermission. You w
 ill view 10 short films.  This program is for adults.  These films have 
 not been rated.\n\nPlease scroll down to register online or call the libra
