Join us for a discussion of the Documentary: Ancient Sea Gardens: Mystery of the Pacific Northwest. When marine geologist Dr. John Harper stumbles upon a coastal phenomenon in the form of mysterious curving rock walls along the low tide line of hundreds of beaches in British Columbia, he launches on a quest that will take years to resolve and will bring him far outside of his scientific community. With the timely intervention of a local beachcomber, Dr. Harper taps into the deep oral traditions of the First Peoples of the area. It may prove to be the most important archaeological discovery of its kind on North America’s West Coast. The answer to this mystery has the power to forever change the way we view our land.
