Friedrichsbrucke - All You Need to Know BEFORE You Go (2025)

Berlin has been called edgy, poor (financially), rich (culturally), liberal, exciting, historical, international, and never-ending. Mariya Fogarasi has lived in Germany on four different occasions for a total of 29 years, including – and most recently – ten years in Berlin, where she hosted countless guests and loved giving city tours.  She also served on the board of the Berlin Historical Association.  Her slideshow presentation will focus on historical highlights of a city which has joined other major European capitals as a “must see” and which will mark the 80th anniversary of its World War III capitulation on May 8, 2025.

This program will be in the Library’s lower-level meeting room. Registration is appreciated. Scroll down to register on the Library’s events calendar or call 734-426-4477 (ext. 120)
