In 2010, renowned filmmaker, Werner Herzog was given permission to enter France’s Chauvet Cave to film some of the oldest surviving paintings in the world. Some were more than 32,000 years old and sat undiscovered and perfectly preserved until they were found by archeologists in 1994. Join us for this showing of one of the most successful documentaries of all time. Cave of Forgotten Dreams provides a unique glimpse of pristine artwork dating back to human hands almost twice as old as any previous discovery.
