This program is designed to help talk with your family about some challenging and often uncomfortable topics involving Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Learn how to discuss difficult subjects such as going to the doctor to get a diagnosis or medical care, deciding when it is necessary to stop driving, and managing finances and legal documents to be sure the person’s wishes are carried out and the costs of future care are covered.
This program is Part 4 of a 5 part series on Alzheimers & Dementia presented by Jim Mangi, PhD, in conjunction with the Washtenaw County Alzheimers Association.
This program is approximately 1 hour with Q & A time at the end. Registration suggested, but not mandatory. To register call the library at 734-426-4477. All are welcome to attend.
