Have You Been Convicted of a Crime? Prescreening will help determine if specific issues can be expunged, prior to attending a Michigan Works! Expungement Fair.
Michigan Works! Holds expungement fairs to help individuals overcome obstacles to employment. Attend this pre-screening session prior to the Fair in September to determine eligibility. Prescreening will be held in the Library’s second floor small group study room.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Convictions must have occurred in Washtenaw County
- No more than one felony conviction
- No more than two misdemeanor convictions
- No traffic offenses, such as operating while intoxicated
- Must be at least five years since date of conviction, release from incarceration or discharge of probation or parole, whichever occurred last
The next criminal record Expungement Fair will be held September 14, 2019, 10am-3pm at:
