Cocktails as we know them today are fundamentally American creations, although they are now made round the world. In this class, take a cross country trip in your glass as we explore the regional classic cocktails of America, from New Orleans to Kentucky to California and beyond.
This is a slideshow presentation with a live demo of two classic drinks. Recipes will be emailed prior to the program. Attendees are welcome to mix along with presenter, Tammy Coxen or just take notes and enjoy the presentation.
About the Presenter:
Tammy Coxen is the Owner and Chief Tasting Officer of Tammy’s Tastings. She has been teaching cocktail classes for over 10 years, including over 600 online classes. She is the co-author of “Cheers to Michigan”, co-host of a regular cocktail segment on Michigan Radio and writes a monthly column for Hour Detroit magazine.
