Are you curious about why solar panels are appearing on roofs? Do they really make sense in Michigan with its cloudy days? Why are so many households deciding that solar is for them?

To learn more about solar and how it works, this meeting will start you on your way. Batteries too! How they work on sunny days, cloudy days, or during the snowiest days of Michigan weather.

There are some simple steps and questions that will help you determine whether solar will work for you. These simple steps and questions start with this event.

Of course, if you do think solar is something you are interested in, understanding the process – start to finish – is important. You will learn about that too.

Finally, you will have a chance to ask questions and get answers, and even talk to others that have already taken the steps toward Making it a Solar World.

About the presenter:

Larry Kerber, of Homeland Solar, has over 5 years of solar experience, starting with a solar assessment certificate from the Midwest Renewable Energy Association. Larry has extensive experience doing solar design and financial feasibility, including electric rate structures, solar taxation, solar regulatory policy, and financial metrics. Larry has an MBA from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from General Motors Institute (now Kettering University).
