Ken Magee, a lifelong Wolverine fan and historian, was raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. For over 50 years Ken has collected University of Michigan sports memorabilia and amassed arguably one of the greatest private collections of U of M sports artifacts. Ken has written three books on Michigan football and his most recent book, Co-authored with Brian Snider, is considered by many to be one of the most unique sports books ever written. “The Ultimate Michigan Football Program and Ticket Guide” is a 680-page hardcover book with over 2500 color photographs dating back to 1881. Ken has been working on this book for over 30 years as demonstrated by the fact the book opens with an Introductory letter by Wolverine great, the late President Gerald Ford.
Ken’s presentation will include images of vintage Wolverine artifacts and the history of Michigan football through the depiction of game program and ticket artwork, as well as actual vintage items for the attendees to handle and review.
Books will be available at a discounted price for attendees of the presentation.
