Join Dr. Yolanda Sealey-Ruiz and students from the Responsive Teaching Coalition Youth Council will engage in an online, intergenerational conversation with elders from the community. The talk will explore a few of the following questions and many more:
- What does it mean to be an activist?
- How did your identity influence how you view your community?
- How have you taken a stance again racial injustice within your community?
This program is sponsored by Eastern Michigan University, Washtenaw Intermediate School District and the Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti, Saline, Chelsea and Dexter libraries.
