Free Mindfulness Meditation sessions continue on the second Saturday of each month.  This month, the session will be held both virtually and in-person at the Library.  Feel free to join via Zoom or join us in the Lower Level Meeting room.

The Library has updated its programming attendance requirements.  Face coverings optional but encouraged in group settings.  Face covering requirements are subject to change without notice.  Registration is required for all in-person programming.  Registrants will need to register all members of their party.  During this time, only pre-registered attendees will be seated.  To provide for adequate social distancing, the Library will need to limit the number of in-person attendees at each program.  Past attendance patterns for in-person events would frequently exceed current COVID-19 capacity limits.  Walk-ins cannot be accommodated.  The Library will continue to monitor COVID-19 conditions and the Library Board will review these requirements on a monthly basis.

Join us for guided mindfulness meditation in a safe, positive, friendly group setting.  These drop-in sessions are open to all and have no religious affiliation.  Sessions will include short presentations by the instructor, technique coaching, silent meditation and time for discussion and questions.  Sessions will be led by different instructors who include Diane Morse, Doreen Murasky and Jeanette Brooks.

  • No experience is necessary
  • Meetings are free

The group will also meet on the third Thursday each month at the Dexter Wellness Center.  Wellness Center sessions have also gone virtual and the link above can be used to attend the Third Thursday sessions.

This program is presented in partnership with the Dexter Wellness Center, Dexter Wellness Coalition and 5HealthyTowns.org.
