Skin cancer is the most common cancer in the United States. Anyone can get skin cancer, but some people are at a higher risk. Join Dr. Ethan Sagher, from Dermatology Specialists of Dexter, for a discussion on this common and serious form of cancer. Dr. Sagher will discuss:

– Common benign spots

– Risk factors for skin cancer

– Skin cancers and pre-cancers

– Actinic Keratoses

– Basal Cell Carcinoma

– Squamous Cell Carcinoma

– Melanoma

– Skin cancer prevention and detection

– Skin cancer treatment methods

There will be time for Q & A following the presentation.

About the Presenter:

Dr. Ethan Sagher is a board-certified dermatologist and Ann Arbor native. He graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Brain, Behavior, and Cognitive Sciences. After completing a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland, Dr. Sagher returned home and earned his medical doctorate from the University of Michigan. He then completed his intern year at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn and his residency in dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
