Have you ever wondered what it takes to be selected as a contestant on Jeopardy? Join Dexter’s own Ben Goldstein as he shares what it is like to be on the most watched game show of all time. Learn how he was selected, how he prepared for the show and what happens behind the scene and in front of the camera.
About the presenter:
A Dexter resident since 2014, Ben Goldstein appeared on Jeopardy! six times in June 2023, winning five games and qualifying for the show’s upcoming Tournament of Champions. Ben graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in English in 2002, and spent the first 12 years of his career working in journalism and online media. He is currently the Director of Content Marketing at Vitally, a business software company based in New York City. When he’s not working or studying trivia, Ben enjoys playing drums, reading literary fiction, and watching old episodes of The Simpsons with his wife, Rachel, and their two sons, Rocco and Vinny.
This program will be in the Library’s lower-level meeting room. Families are welcome to attend. Registration is appreciated, but not required. Scroll down to register or call the library at 734-426-4477. This program will be in the Library’s Lower Level Meeting Room.
