The traditions, familial ties, and history behind food provide us with a beautiful window into the culture of a country and its people. This is a concept that is explored at length on The Foreign Fork food blog run by Alexandria Drzazgowski. On her blog, Alexandria is cooking one meal from each of the 196 countries on this planet. In this event, Alexandria will be demonstrating four recipes that she learned while living abroad in Rome, Italy, including homemade fettuccini noodles, 3-ingredient tomato sauce, cacio e pepe (a cheesy pasta dish popular in Rome), and tiramisu.

The Foreign Fork,  blog was nominated for Saveur Magazine’s “Most Groundbreaking Voice” Blog Award this year. (http://foreignfork.com/)

Registration for this event is required as space is limited. Register at the Adult Service Desk or call the library at 734-426-4477.
